Excessive inactivity. Forgive me. School doesn't like me, nor do I like it, and I have yet to get my social life together. Pssh, like I have one.
Plus, since the last day of the quarter was yesterday, I've was on edge for the past couple of weeks trying to keep my grades steady, especially in biology. Never was good at science. Yet, I think I managed to pull all my grades up to a good 90-something percent.
Whoever thought of homework on Friday needs to die.
Speaking of weekend homework, ever heard of the Baby Think It Over Program? Well, for those who haven't, it's a baby simulator that is supposed to help teens understand the difficulties of parenting. It's required in the health classes of my school, and I, for one, feel that the creators should have mentioned a bit of this robot child's excessively demonic nature. No living being cries to be fed this
Lol, I kid. It's actually one of the most adorable things I have ever laid eyes on and- OH MY GOD IT'S CRYING. 0__0
There are four types of care for this baby. Feeding, burping, rocking, and diaper change. And, so far, I think I've got the hang of it. Some of the girls in class brought in their own baby clothes the other day for their "children" to wear. I, feeling left out because I forgot, bought a onesie for it yesterday, after school. It fits a little big on him (yes, him) but
he'll grow into it. I seriously just said that...
Did I mention that he
was wearing a pink outfit when I got him? My first thoughts, My god, what kind of monstrosity is this?!
You don't put a baby boy into pink clothing, it's just isn't- it doesn't- NO.
Basically, this baby is programmed to work just like a real baby. It needs attention and to be handled with great care. It's breathes are audible when it sleeps, and if shaken, dropped, abused, or neglected in any way, my grade, which counts for a good amount of my second quarter grade, will decrease by the slightest bit. Why did I agree to this? It was either spend weekend caring for robot child, or write seventy page essay. Exaggeration ftw...
On another note, I'm currently texting a friend of mine (previously !Webkinz-queen
) on how I'm doing with said child, just making inside jokes as we usually do. *sigh* I liked it better when she was on dA. :/ She just made everything more awesome. Now the only time I ever see her is when we go to the theater to watch a good movie. We were supposed to see Lion King 3D the other weekend but something came up. Plus, it was only showing for a limited amount of time. 2 weeks to be exact. But, just because
she's never seen Lion King and I have, doesn't mean we can't compromise and just watch it at my place.
But seriously, Donnie, you have not lived the traditional Disney life. You must watch this movie
Disney seriously needs to make more movies like Lion King.
Something else that needs to be watched; I haven't gotten a chance to see any part of the second season of MLP: FiM. I'd like to know what all the fuss is about this Discord character. I've seen some fan art on him and he seems... interesting. Lol.
... My god, it's breathing.
Last night, my parents and my brother went to the theater without me. I'm still unsure on whether or not they saw Moneyball or if they lied just to irk me and really watched Real Steel. I've been dying to see Real Steel. Though, after seeing how many previews and reading how many summaries, I still do not understand what Moneyball is all about, so, I do not wish to see it. Am I missing out? Plus, because of this smallish Darth Vader in my lap, I can't go to the movies anyways. Phooey.
Speaking of film and entertainment, I still have yet to get #TheFilmCritiques going. I haven't had the free time to upload or post anything on there or anywhere. It's odd, because I find myself never having enough time to go on dA anymore, yet I'm always bored as hell. Well, there's only one liable explanation. Busy + Boredom = School. It's school's fault. But school's a good thing. So this argument is invalid
The ninth installment of Tomb Raider is rumored to release in the third quarter of 2012. Do you know how happy that makes me? I usually don't enjoy reboots much
in fact, I despise them.
I am not referring to Skylanders. Yes I am. But, this reboot seems like it will be the best to happen yet. In my opinion, at least.
Well, that is it for this journal. I hope you enjoyed my ramble and to make up for my inactivity, I'll try to upload something that might be to all of y'alls liking.
