My name is Marissa Alexandria Martinez. I go by the nickname of Marti, the alias of Marti Silent and the pseudonym of M. A. Silent, a.k.a. "I'm going through an identity crisis." I'm an eighteen year old student videographer, aspiring digital artist, descriptive fictitious writer, experimental cosplayer and open-minded gaming enthusiast. I've entered and placed in four high school film festivals, my most notable short film titled Noa's Jar, and am most compatible with scary theatre kids.|
I live in the salad bowl of the nation where agriculture is at its finest, the weather can't make up its mind, and John Steinbeck's childhood home can be found just around the corner, yet not one damn bookstore can seem to stay open long enough for anyone to visit. Population: Everyone hates it here but just ain't got the moxie to get the hell out.
I'm fiercely inspired by the inner mechanisms of mind called vivid dreaming and outrageous imagination and I've set myself on the path to becoming a character designer, concept artist, film director, screenwriter, musician, and, nerves don't fail me now, an entertainer. All in hopes of making some sort of difference in this little world.
But right now, I'm a first generation Cinematic Arts & Technology Major at my local university just trying to get through each and every day with a purposeful smile on my face, all while living with my ever-improving mediocrity called art.
